We enjoyed every little bit of it. Location was superb and really close to main strip, shopping centre and Christmas markets, all within 5 minute walk tops. Room was outstanding and when we come back to Edinburgh we will be stopping here again.

Room was lovely and comfortable and location was excellent. Only thing I did not lik3 was having to pay extra for breakfast, I think this should have been included in price.

Room nice but shower was very poor. Breakfast good plenty of options. Good central Location very close to train station and shops.

Property is immaculate, very clean and beautifully appointed. Great location, super value and 1st class breakfast! Staff are very professional and attentive. I would return for sure.

Very convenient central location, helpful and friendly staff. Our large room was clean and warm. The bathroom was cold to start with but maintenance staff checked it and found the under floor heating had been turned off and rectified it. We will certainly use the hotel again when we visit Edinburgh.

Visited Edinburgh for the first time and had a great stay at New Town Hotel. Location is fantastic , close to St Andrew Square Station and 5-10 min walk to Waverly Bridge. Rooms were in good standard, overall impression was excellent! Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The reception staff are super friendly and helpful and it made the stay so much more enjoyable. Excellent location and within walking distance of all the local spots! Clean rooms and a cosy feel, will definitely book again. Thank you for an excellent stay.

Good location. Nicely refitted room 102 although better use could have been made of space I.e. wardrobe could have been wider and bed could have been nearer wardrobe to allow space to use armchairs. Also lots of scuffs on the walls need touching up. Lastly we stayed two nights and have no idea whether there is a bar/lounge. It is not mentioned online, by staff or anywhere within hotel. The only reason we believe there might be is we saw what appeared to be a small bar through a slightly opened door. Also there appeared to be a ridge in the mattress at shoulder level. Another thing is we weren’t able to open the window in the room. I realise I’ve raised a few minor criticisms however it was still a decent value stay.

Todo perfecto. Amabilidad, disposición, instalación y ubicación. Estamos a 10 minutos dando un paseo de la Old Town y vas disfrutando del trayecto.

The location is perfect. All the hotspots are in walking distance. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My man has a big frame and he didn't fit in the average double bed, so they gave us an upgrade. We were so happy, that they did this. It made all the difference. After that our stay was so comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and dark. The bed was precisely what we needed to have a few days to rest. When in Edinburgh, this hotel is a must 👌

Beautiful hotel !…….Staff could not do enough for us and the breakfast was the best Hotel breakfast l ever had - l passed this on to the Chef personally…Great location and because of the excellent staff, l would highly recommend and l will deffo book again :)

I stayed for six days, and everything was simply outstanding. The room was completely renovated and beautifully done. The staff was friendly, polite, and genuinely welcoming. The location couldn’t be more convenient, and the room was always warm, comfortable, and spotless — an exceptional stay from start to finish.

Magnifique hôtel entièrement rénové avec beaucoup de goût ! Personnel très sympathique et accueillant. Grande chambre avec vue panoramique sur le Firth. Emplacement idéal. Nous reviendrons !! Attention si vous n’aimez pas les escaliers demandez une chambre RDC. Pas d’ascenseur dans cet immeuble typique du style georgien !

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience! The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented — perfect for a relaxing stay. The real highlight, though, was the breakfast and the amazing staff. Every morning, the team greeted me with warm smiles and made sure I had everything I needed. The food was fresh, delicious, and offered a great variety. Overall, it was a fantastic stay — I’d definitely come back and highly recommend it!
